Ever eaten or touched something spicy and had a painful burning reaction? If you’re a spicy food lover like me, then this kind of thing happens all too often. It’s important to know the fastest and easiest way to cure it. Here are the top ways of stopping the burn;
Mouth – Drinking milk is the most common way to bring relief but believe it or not, alcohol can also work. It’s because the chemical in chilli breaks down in these liquids (and it doesn’t in water!).
Skin – Rubbing the skin with salt will apparently remove the traces of chilli. Finish by rinsing with milk or soaking in yogurt.
For chilli eye, some people say a milk rinse will work in the same way but for me it will always be the ‘run around screaming’ way.
