Chilli prawns

A great twist on the classic prawn cocktail.

Serves 3 as a starter

  • Knob of butter
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 1 red chilli, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 200g cooked, peeled king prawns
  • Juice of 1 lemon

Melt the butter and olive oil together in a saucepan  Add garlic, chilli and paprika and fry for two minutes. Stir in the prawns and heat through. Add the lemon juice and stir and then serve with some slices of baguette.
