Spicy bean chilli

There are many types of chilli and I hope to try as many as possible. I have already published my recipe for spicy veggie chilli so now it is time to try my spicy bean chilli.

Burn your mouth

Serves 2

  • 1 tbsp veg oil
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 sliced courgette
  • 400g chopped tomatoes (can)
  • 400g kidney beans
  • 2 tsp chilli powder
  • 1 tsp dried sage

Preheat oven to 190C. Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the onions for three minutes. Add the courgette and fry for a further two minutes. Add the rest of the ingredients and stir well. Transfer to an oven proof casserole dish and cook in the oven for 50 minutes. Serve with rice and soured cream.
